Avocado Toast with Poached Egg

A trendy, nutritious breakfast with creamy avocado and a perfectly poached egg on toast.
- 1 slice whole-grain bread, toasted
- 1/2 ripe avocado, mashed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh herbs for garnish
