Dump and Bake Chicken Parmesan Casserole

A simple and delicious casserole that combines pasta, chicken, marinara sauce, and cheese in a single baking dish, offering a hassle-free twist on the classic Italian dish.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups uncooked penne pasta
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the uncooked penne pasta, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, garlic powder, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  4. Top the casserole with shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

For added flavor, sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes on top before serving.

You can substitute the chicken with ground beef or turkey for variation.
