4-Ingredient Cloud Eggs

A light and fluffy breakfast dish where egg whites are whipped into clouds and baked with the yolk nestled in the center, creating a visually stunning and nutritious meal.

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk or Hand Mixer
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese (optional)
  • Salt , to taste
  • Pepper , to taste
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks, placing the whites in a large mixing bowl and the yolks in separate small bowls.
  3. Whip the egg whites with a hand mixer or whisk until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold in the grated cheese, if using, along with salt and pepper.
  5. Spoon the whipped egg whites onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, creating two mounds.
  6. Make a small well in the center of each mound and carefully place one yolk in each well.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the egg whites are golden and slightly crispy, and the yolk is set to your liking.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with extra seasoning if desired.

For a richer taste, you can sprinkle the egg whites with herbs or grated Parmesan before baking.

You can substitute cheese with any herbs you prefer, like chives or thyme.
